What: This Feeling is an earnest new comedy about finding love, performed as an experimental theater piece with one actress and three lamps. In a hallway at midnight, Cassie is locked out. Jane is not lonely, not even a little. Coincidence leads to blossoming friendship and to escaping the isolation of life in the city. This Feeling is a comedy about throwing up and broken hearts and a romance about growing up and broken hands, in which Cassie is played by a lamp, and a voice brings light into the life of lonely Jane.

Emma Baxter, Artistic Director of the Broke People Play Festival, says, "This Feeling captures the essence of a newly discovered close bond and its inherent emotional roller coaster, an incredible feat to accomplish with words. And [Amelia] Annen’s performance, more than a cherry on top, is sure to make you laugh, cry, and feel this feeling." Cristina D'Anna, Company Manager of holysmokes! Theatre Co., says, "This show was inventive, touching, and truly breaks the stereotype of what a play about love has been. Throndson's direction is clever and does nothing but compliment the witty writing of Annen and Montes. Viewing this piece was a breath of fresh air."
