Beyond mainstage productions, SoHo Playhouse Jr. offers interactive after-school classes and summer programs designed for children ages 6–18. Taught by professional NYC actors, writers, and working performers, the curriculum covers acting, improv, comedy, storytelling, and musical theater. Held directly on SoHo Playhouse’s stage rather than in a standard classroom, the supportive programs focus on play, collaboration, and stage presence. Groups are kept small, capped at 15 students, to ensure personalized instruction, culminate in live original performances on stage, and welcome participants of all experience levels.
More information on the classes can be found here: https://www.sohoplayhouse.com/soho-playhouse-jr
